Westonbirt Arboretum
Visit Westonbirt Arboretum, just 2 miles from our front door, to see the world famous collection of trees and shrubs. Visit us for Lunch, Dinner or even the night!

Westonbirt is an historic, Victorian picturesque landscape and an internationally important tree and shrub collection. It is managed by the Forestry Commission and supported by the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum.
The 16,000 trees (3,000 different specimens) come from Britain, China, North America, Japan, Chile and other temperate climates. Throughout the year Westonbirt’s trees, shrubs and wildflowers put on a spectacular show of shapes, patterns and colours.
Although well worth a visit at any time of year, Autumn is the most spectacular and starts with a bang with one of the best natural fireworks displays in Britain. The famous Japanese maples in particular are ablaze in reds, oranges and yellows.
